Principal

Lisa Hemann Lisa Hemann, CPA license #0024278, is the Managing Principal and Director of Audit Services. Lisa specializes in accounting and auditing of local governments and not for profit organizations. She joined CSD in 2003 as a member of the audit team, and has been a principal since 2013.

Managers

Edward Freeman Edward Freeman, CPA license #0033482, received his BS degree in Accounting from Colorado Mesa University in 2013. He is a native of Wyoming and has lived in Grand Junction since 1999. He enjoys mountain biking on the world class trail systems the valley has to offer. He and his wife, Sarah, also enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and instructing at the local mountain resort Powderhorn.

Nathan Oberle Nathan Oberle, CPA license #9035859, is an audit manager and has an M.B.A. from Missouri State University, with many years’ experience in nonprofit audit. As a board member and volunteer of different nonprofits in the past, he saw the need for sound financial stewardship in that sector, and working in public accounting allows him to continue to share his expertise. Nathan is a Fruita native and recently moved back from Denver with his wife. He likes cooking, cycling, hiking, fishing and hunting. 

Senior Staff

Danielle Cordova Danielle Cordova established her interest in accounting at Palisade High School, where she completed her first accounting course. As a graduate of Colorado Mesa University in 2017 with a B.S. in accounting, Danielle found a home on our audit team, initially as an intern, and then a permanent colleague the following year. Aside from work, she enjoys spending her free time with her son, daughter, and fur baby, as well as baking, painting, hiking and gardening.

Professional Staff

Chris Stager Chris Stager is a new addition to our audit staff, and has a B.S. in accounting from CMU. He grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Colorado in 2012. Known to climb a 14er every year, Chis also likes to camp, float the river with friends, and take family road trips to national parks. He also attends the occasional dinosaur presentation at Dinosaur Journey Museum.
