T. Michael Nelson, CPA license #0007007, president and director of audit services. Mike has been with CSD since 1980 and has been a CPA since 1982. He has lived in the Grand Junction area since 1980 and has a BS degree in Accounting from Brigham Young University. Mike oversees the quality control process at CSD and has experience in auditing, consulting and providing other accounting services for local governments, not-for-profit organizations and various for-profit businesses across Colorado. Mike is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA). He has served on the Governmental Committee, the Not-for-Profit Committee, and the Peer Review Board of the COCPA. Mike has also served on many not-for-profit boards and audit committees in the community.
Lisa Hemann, CPA license #0024278, began her career with CSD after graduating from Colorado Mesa University (formerly Mesa State College) in 2003. Lisa specializes in governmental and not for profit accounting and auditing. She is a member fo the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the Colorado Society of CPAs (COCPA). Lisa is a western slope native and enjoys running, biking, yoga and hiking in her free time.
Edward Freeman, CPA license #0033482, received his BS degree in Accounting from Colorado Mesa University in 2013. He is a native of Wyoming and has lived in Grand Junction since 1999. He enjoys mountain biking on the world class trail systems the valley has to offer. He and his wife, Sarah, also enjoy skiing, snowboarding, and instructing at the local mountain resort Powderhorn.
Rebecca Ramthun received her BS degree in Accounting along with a minor in English from Colorado Mesa University in 2016. In her spare time, she keeps up with the activities of a husband and four busy children, gardens, and volunteers in 4-H and Cub Scouts.
Danielle Cordova Danielle Cordova received her BS degree in Accounting from Colorado Mesa University in 2017. She is a Mother of two children, and in her free time enjoys: gardening, hiking, long walks, fishing, and supporting her children in their competitive sporting activities.
SarahBeth Walsh graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2018 with a BS in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration. SarahBeth is an Air Force veteran and is an active member of the veteran community in Mesa County including volunteering with the Student Veterans Association and the All Services Ball Committee. She is a Western Slope native and moved back to the Grand Valley in 2013. SarahBeth enjoys spending as much time as she can outside with her five boys. They enjoy activities such as fishing, camping, riding bikes, swimming, and skiing.
